Kelly Bulkeley, Ph.D., is a Visiting Scholar at the Graduate Theological Union and a faculty member of the Dream Studies Program at John F. Kennedy University. He is the author of several books and articles on dreams, religion, psychology, culture, and science, including The Wilderness of Dreams, An Introduction to the Psychology of Dreaming, and The Wondering Brain.
He is a former President of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and serves on the Steering Committees of the Person, Culture and Religion Group and the Religion and the Social Sciences Section, both program units of the American Academy of Religion. He holds editorial positions with the journals Sleep and Hypnosis, Dreaming, Religious Studies Review, Pastoral Psychology, and Dreamtime.
He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago Divinity School in 1992, his M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School in 1986, and his B.A. from Stanford University in 1984.
