LIST OF THE DREAMS

FL 1 COOK KILLS HER MOTHER

I was at my house with my mom, my younger sister, and my younger brother and his friends. My brother and his friends were watching a sports game on TV. Out of nowhere the cook at my parents' restaurant came to my house and murdered my mom in my bathroom. My dad came home a little while later, went into my sister's room and killed himself. When I found him there, I went to call 911 and our phone wouldn't work. I finally got through on a cell phone, and suddenly my dad was alive again. My sister then took his hand and led him into my bathroom. She said, "Look, there's mom," and pointed to her dead body. We went back out to the living room and my dad said, "Let's get out of here." Just as I said, "We can't, Tom (the cook/murderer) took mom's car," Tom pulled up in the driveway. I was terrified as he walked up our walkway and into our house again, but my dad wasn't. Tom then proceeded to explain the procedures and the logic behind killing my mom, as I stuffed my face with a huge bowl of raviolis.

FL 2 BOYFRIEND'S HAPPY PARTY

I dreamt that I was at a party that my boyfriend was hosting at his house. I cannot remember the specific details of how/why I was at this party, but I do remember that it was at his house. I can remember it was very warm in the house, and all the lights were on. Everyone was very happy and seemed to be enjoying everyone's company. What made this dream memorable was that my high school friends were there, who I haven't seen in two years. I remember their faces being extremely colorful (red lips, pink cheeks), and just full of life. Both my friends and I were extremely excited to see each other.

FL 3 HUGGING HER CONFUSED AUNT

I am in my house I lived in when I was younger. My aunt and little cousin Marcus came to visit me. I was back home from going to school in Hawaii. When I saw my aunt I gave her a hug but she was hesitant at hugging me back. She looked extremely confused. Marcus was playing with my mom, he was restless and he wanted to leave. I was just standing there. I was confused myself. I wasn't sure what was going on.

FL 4 EX-LOVER'S MASSAGE

I was dreaming about a past relationship. I ran into my ex-lover at the mall. We went back to his house and I began speaking with his mother. He and I went upstairs and he began to massage my body. When his hands touched the small of my back, I quickly woke up and called my boyfriend to tell him how much I love him.

FL 5 MOTHER CUTS HER HAIR CRAZILY

I had a dream that my mom cut my hair all crazy, giving me bangs and cutting it uneven on the sides. We were on a vacation and the house in which we were staying was located right on the beach. My parents were there and I believe my brother was there as well. I remember looking out the glass doors and seeing the ocean directly outside. The waves kept getting closer and closer and taller and taller. Then I realized that there was an emergency warning being sounded out, but no one was taking it seriously and I had to try and get everyone out of the house.

FL 6 A WATCH IN THE WATER

I dreamt that I was in the ocean near the shore, with people. As I was floating I noticed a male watch and swam down to reach it. The watch kept slipping out of my hand and then I noticed the clasp was floating away. I managed to catch the watch but not the clasp. Then when I looked at my hand with the watch in it, it was a female watch that I had grabbed. I went back and took the male watch as well but both were damaged when I brought them back to shore. On the shore there is a little girl with a nose piercing that is almost grotesque. It is revealed that her mother made her wear it because it is trendy. Then her father notices that the piercing is infected and removes it.

FL 7 BOYFRIEND'S MOM YELLS AT HER

My boyfriend and I were watching tv in his living room and he went outside to smoke. So, I was just sitting by myself watching TV. Then his mom comes home and starts yelling at us and yelling at me because she didn't know that he smokes. I was really scared and sad because I didn't want his mom yelling at me. I wanted her to like me.

FL 8 TAKING CARE OF HER YOUNG NIECE

My family had a reunion get together at a hotel and I was in charge of taking care of my young niece. We were outside and walking on this pathway that was very slippery and we kept falling. My niece would cry every time we would fall and I would try to distract her. Suddenly I realized I didn't have her milk bottle, so I asked my dad to watch her while I went inside the hotel to get it. I managed to get up the slippery pathway again and go inside the hotel, but suddenly it turned into a mall and I could not find my family anywhere. Although I had never seen the mall before, I somehow knew my way around. The rest of the dream I spent looking for my family (very vague at this point).

FL 9 TEMPTED TO LEAVE HER BOYFRIEND

I dreamed I was lying on my stomach and a friend of mine who I might have crush on came next to me. We were in a corner of a room. He kissed me on the ear. The next thing in the dream was us sitting on a sofa in the living room (mine??) talking, and I'd assume stuff happened in between that I did not actually dream. He was offering to give me a lot of things, I don't know what exactly for, something like, leave my boyfriend and run away with him. He offered things like spending his savings on me, and when I didn't give an answer, neither yes nor no, he offered more. I didn't speak, just cried. I knew what was the right thing to do, but I didn't want to commit myself. Out of the parlor? Came the chair of my department and I thought, oh great, now I'm in trouble. (the chair knows of my boyfriend, and he's met him. But instead, he talked to my friend as if they knew each other and asked, "were you the one that did this (made her cry)?" When he nodded, the chair said, then it's your responsibility to make it better.

FL 10 CRUEL SOCCER GAMEàFLYING

I was walking in a park-like area toward some sort of museum, there was a lot of statuary (Greek?) leading up to the museum and I remember thinking how far (unusually far) the walk to the door was. I was with a friend, Pat, I have had since second grade. I noticed a soccer match going on to our left and it consisted of many adult men but there was a line of children (6-7 years old) who had their shirts pulled over their heads, and their parents were lining them up. I remember thinking how odd and cruel that was to send the children into a violent game with older men. At this point I became lucid and remembered that I could fly in my dreams if I wanted to. I began to fly and I thought to myself, "If only I could remember how to do this while I am awake, it is so easy." Pat was up ahead and as I flew towards him I awoke.

FL 11 BLISSFUL PREGNANCY

I am not sure of where I am exactly; however, that does not really concern me. It is not dark yet not overly bright. I do realize I am indoors because though there is not a mirror visible to me I know I am looking at myself and through my eyes. It is pleasantly warm and quiet; I can feel this in my arms, back, face…through my whole body. I may be reclined in a bed or a very soft and big easy chair. I am very comfortable and peaceful. I feel my abdomen, large and warm, and I know life is within me. This is a recurring dream in which I have the baby in my arms and I am nursing the baby. It is so real that the baby's smell and gurgling, suckling, etc. I feel physically. I have to emphasize the calm and contentment, the overwhelming love I have for this child welling up within me.

FL 12 SEEING THE GIRL SHE LOVES

In the dream there was me, the girl I'm in love with, and her boyfriend, who is a friend of mine also. We were in this really large bathroom like thing and she wanted he and I to escort her to the bathroom. The weird thing about the bathroom was that some stalls had doors and others had shower curtains. Like the almost clear kind but you can't really see through it. She wanted to go to one that had the shower curtain, but was afraid to because she thought we would look at her.

FL 13 HAUNTED APARTMENT

I was moving into a new apartment, from the 3rd floor to the 3rd floor-across a grassy area, there were other people helping me with boxes, when I got in to the new apartment I loved it, I remember climbing up the stairs, I looked around and liked it, but I knew it was haunted, I can't remember what happened so that I would know, but I knew and I didn't mind.

FL 14 GEORGE W. BUSH STEALS HER CHIPS

I was in my room watching the news on the election and eating chips and G.W. Bush came into my room and stole my chips. I was surprised and caught off guard. I looked up at the TV and Gore won because they miscalculated the votes.

FR 1 HER POLICEMAN FATHER IS KILLED

My father is a policeman and last night I had a dream that he was shot and killed in the line of duty. The setting was at a church during the funeral service. My family both immediate and extended were present along with friends and other policemen. The church was of course sad and crying. It was dark, people were wearing black, there were red and white flowers, and a picture of my father in his police uniform at the altar. I woke up from the dream thinking that it had really happened for a few minutes until I saw my dad.

FR 2 MAKING OUT WITH PUFFY COMBS

I was driving in a car with Puffy Combs (the rapper) and we were in a convertible coming from the airport so we drove to Jennifer Lopez's house (his real girlfriend) and we hung out and started to make out. Then he somehow got a whole bunch of pictures of my family naked and sent them to a ton of people in my neighborhood with our names on the back. It was very embarrassing!

FR 3 SINGING TO HER BOYFRIEND

I am in an outdoor setting/environment. It's in the late afternoon, there are green leafy trees throughout the spacious park/field. There is a stage set up like a concert is about to begin. Lights, sound system, colored lights, musicians. I'm starting to get excited with all the hype going on from my nervousness and with the crowd's excitement. I'm with my boyfriend and we're just enjoying the time together.

I'm up on the stage performing and singing to the crowd. I'm so nervous and scared, at the same time I'm feeding off of the crowd's emotions. I start to enjoy the attention, and I'm maintaining locked eye contact with my boyfriend-as if I'm singing to him. The final song is by Selena, "I could fall in love with you, baby…." I'm feeling a little shocked and embarrassed because it's as if I'm singing to him and sharing my deep thoughts. I'm holding out my hand to him….

FR 4 WATCHING A DVD WITH A FRIEND

A friend, Rene, and I are sitting in his living room watching a DVD on a wide-screen video entertainment system. The room is painted white with only a couch, coffee table, end table, and television in the room. There is an open door behind and to the left of the couch. Rene is sitting in a relaxed position in the corner of the couch (right) beside the end table. He is wearing a red shirt and black pants. I am laying on the couch beside him with my head on his chest. I am wearing blue jeans and a gray sweatshirt. His housemate, Paul, enters the room and walks behind the couch. I speak with him. He teases me about always being there, and I respond that I only come over to watch DVDs. Rene looks at me, yells "hey," and begins to tickle me. I first notice Paul in the reflection from the TV screen. I never turn around to face him.

FR 5 SPOILED BABYàKITTEN

My family (2 brothers, 1 sister-in-law, mom, and my fiancé) were on a vacation in a small house. Everyone was sleeping in bedrooms located in the basement. I had a small baby (I do not have one in reality) that wanted to be held and crawl around. I remember when I placed the baby on the floor it began to cry and I thought, "Oh no! You can't be a spoiled baby." Then the family ended up going to a TV set of the movie "The Mano Brothers," but it was more like a fish store/warehouse found by the ocean. My brother and fiancé were actors in the movie. They were the main stars and were giving us a tour of the set. They wore bright blue and red overalls and blue and red collared shirts. In the middle of the tour I put the baby down to crawl around and realized it must be hungry, but I had forgotten a bottle for it. I turned around and my baby had turned into a kitten and was eating cat food in a bowl set out for the movie cat. I picked up my kitten/baby and we proceeded to leave. The smell of fish was very strong and I distinctly remember huge eyeballs protruding out of the fish staring at us. As we were leaving we had to climb a big hill in a field to get to the parking lot. It was dusty and light brown. A guard drove by and asked us what we were doing, but then realized that we were with the stars of the movie and left. I remember waking up with the smell of salt water and fish.

FR 6 BURGLAR KILLS HER FATHER

I dreamt a burglar entered my parents' house. I watched though I wasn't there. My parents were asleep in bed, however they were on opposite sides than they normally sleep. The man killed my father. Then my mother disappeared. The next day I was somewhere, I don't know where or with who, but I knew my father had been killed. I drove home to see my mother but driving up I knew she wasn't there. As I pulled into the driveway I was overcome by sadness and loneliness and started to cry. I woke up from the dream crying. The dream was in color.

FR 7 NO WEDDING DRESS

This particular dream is recurring. I recently got engaged to the man I've been dating for 4 years. We are not getting married until two years from now. This dream starts out the day of our wedding in the morning. When I get up on that wedding day I realize that I forgot to buy a wedding dress. I have nothing to wear and it's only a couple of hours before our big wedding. My best friend and I rush to a store and try to get something, anything for me. We never end up finding anything and the dream then always ends. It never continues to the actual wedding. My friend is 20 years old also.

FR 8 KISSING EX-BOYFRIEND, DISGUSTED

I had a dream about my X-boyfriend (25 years old). I was at my hotel room with a bunch of my friends and he was there and had his own room. It was a nice room and at first I was happy to see him. I knew that I would rather be with my current boyfriend (29 yeasr old) but since he wasn't there I was hanging out with my X-boyfriend. When I was in the room the phone rang and he answered it. It was a girl named Amy, who I have never heard of. Their conversation was brief. I remember him laughing and trying to make me jealous but I didn't really care. I remember kissing him in my dream. In my dream I knew it was wrong but I didn't care. When I woke up I felt disgusted and guilty for having this kind of dream.

FR 9 SHE KILLS HER BROTHER

It was a very disturbing dream. I dreamt that my brother (he's almost 16) and I were fighting and he had a gun. I suddenly had a gun as well. I don't remember what we were fighting about, but we were inside a house, at first. I just remember pleading with him not to shoot me. I think I shot at him and he chased me outside. It was night time. Looking back at it, it seems like the house and the neighborhood greatly resembled my Grandma's. He chased me for a long while and eventually I shot him several times. After he collapsed, I ran over to him and begged him not to die. He did and I felt such a great loss. I woke up crying and feeling like I just wanted to hug my brother.

FR 10 CONSOLING HER FRIEND

Saturday night before the dream-one of the people that I row with (Liz) was very upset at a party. Susan, whom I also row with was trying to cheer her up. No one knew what the problem was. That night I dreamt that I figured out what made Liz so upset. We were talking someplace on campus where she lives. The only other part I remember about the setting is that there were plants in the room. It was just the two of us talking. No pleasant or unpleasant feelings, just concern for my friend.

FR 11 SALE AT THE GAP

I was walking in a strange mall. I walked by the Gap and they had a huge sale. All their clothing was extremely cheap. I was excited because I found a sweater and shirt that I liked. Then my friend, a female age 18, came up to me and also started looking at the clothes. She picked out a sweater. A salesman started telling me information about the clothes, and then the dream was over.

FR 12 UNWANTED BABY, BUT NO ABORTION

The dream began in the hospital and I found out I had a baby. At first it wasn't strange or unusual to me or the people around me. Then I took the baby back to the dorms, with the usual people there. It was then that I started to feel unhappy. I left the baby on the desk and asked my roommate to watch it for me. I then asked questions to myself like how I let it happen and for some reason there was no father at all. I didn't find that part strange either. It was not until I was back in the dorm that I started to feel hopeless about my future. I started considering my options and remembering that I was against abortion so I had to practice what I always talked about by living with my decision. I don't remember how it ended but I just remember feeling relieved to wake.

FR 13 PREGNANT AGAIN, AND DISAPPOINTED

I dreamt that I was a few weeks pregnant, but I was showing as if I was about six months or so. I had a feeling of disappointment because I was pregnant out of wedlock again. I was living back in the place where I moved from 3 months ago. I was helping everyone get ready for my ex's sister's wedding in a Catholic church (she's Baptist and was married in October). Her husband was bringing me home from the rehearsal (I think) and when we arrived at my home, we started talking about my condition and he asked a certain question which I forgot. But I was crying and I wanted him to comfort me, which he did in a friendly way. I don't remember much else from the dream except that I was hobbling around, very pregnant. The colors were soothing, everything was very homelike, but I was very disappointed at being pregnant.

FR 14 MASS SUICIDEàZOMBIES

It was more of a nightmare than a dream, I was standing in a long line with thousands of people in water up to about our waists, we were all being led up to a huge colorful altar, with people surrounding it, where each person was blessed and then killed somehow under water, it was like a mass suicide, and I felt like I was the only person who knew what was going on, everyone else acted like zombies, I freaked out and woke up.

ML 1 PLAYING RUGBY WITH GIRLFRIENDS

I remember I was at rugby practice, but the circumstances surrounding it were completely wrong. First, I was playing not with other men, which is normal, but with women. Another strange aspect is that two of the players I was in close contact with were my ex-girlfriend and a girl who I am currently involved with. The only emotion I can remember is being in a state of confusion.

ML 2 FINDING A BIG JOINT

I had a dream that we, my friends from back home (3 males: 2 white and 1 black) were running around outside. Then all the sudden, one of them vanished. Instead of being scared or wondering what happened, we didn't pay much attention to it. So all the sudden, we found a big joint laying on the ground. It wasn't just a joint, but a big joint. So we smoked it. After "getting high" we got into a philosophical discussion of whether the joint we found was our friend who was missing.

ML 3 WORKING AT OFFICEàHOME

I dreamed that I was at work configuring a server. Then I got up to go to the restroom, but when I walked out of my office I was at home, which even in the dream felt weird and really unusual. After that I realized that I was dreaming and I woke up.

ML 4 RENTING WITH HIS BROTHER

I dreamt that I was in Seattle looking at houses to rent. I'd never been in any of these houses before, but I can picture the outside of them. I have no idea if they are real or just a composite. I was with my older brother (25) when we were looking. I have no idea why, because I don't plan on living with him. Nothing very eventful occurred, I only remember standing in a sunlit kitchen with my brother and maybe a few other people and knowing that we were looking to rent. Like I say it was more a feeling than anything else.

ML 5 SHIP ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN

I was in a mail jeep (like the workers use at school) with my senior design class teacher and a few students in back. We drove down this straight stretch of road through green pastures until we came to a seaside town with narrow streets. I was driving, and I kept bumping into cars through town. The town is ringed by a mountain range, which touches the sea. We walked up the mountain on one side to the top. On the other side of the mountain I saw people hiking and the waves crashing all the way to the top. It was a sunny, clear day. Then I saw a ship (kind of like Noah's Ark) half buried and rotting away. Its end was sticking out. I turned to someone next to me (there was a group of people) and asked him what the boat was. He pointed to a stone plaque with the inscription "AD 1146." The dream ended there.

ML 6 EXAM, TIGER AND ELEPHANT

My dream involved studying for a test. I was out with my girlfriend and all of a sudden remembered I had a test and it was in one hour. Even though I knew I had to start cramming, I still didn't start studying. When I took the test, a big tiger jumped out at me and next an elephant ate the tiger. I then failed the test because none of the questions looked at all familiar to me. I felt very stressed and helpless.

ML 7 WEIRD TELEPHONE KEYPAD

I needed very badly to make a phone call. I found myself in an enormous room with high ceilings, no furniture, and each wall was a different pastel color. The only object visible on the wall was a gigantic telephone keypad. Each button seemed to be at least a square foot big, and each were of a different pastel color. Three of my hallmates were also in the room, but they were seated at a balcony high above the keypad on the wall. They told me that to make a call with this phone, I had to choose a button, remove it from the wall, turn it over (this is where the number was found on the button), replace the button in the correct hole in the wall, and when I knew which # each button stood for, I could dial my desired number flawlessly. I tried once, but I kept forgetting which button was for which number. As I kept trying, my friends kept giving me suggestions all at once. I remember feeling very frustrated and confused.

ML 8 SEX WITH TWINS

After a play performance (I am in the Fall play) I went down to the local tavern. The performance had gone well so I sort of drifted there (not in a car, but not by foot?). In any rate, many women were inspired by my performance. After a few drinks and some pool I found myself in a shower with two beautiful female twins (I know such people) engaged in an ecstatic adventure of passion. The only other part of the dream that I remember clearly now was a friend of mine moving his bowels in the glen (wooded, scenic area with trails) in the rain, where a few other people were watching him.

ML 9 GIRLFRIEND IS CHEATING

The dream started at my home town of LA and I thought that my girlfriend was cheating on me. We are very close and always said that we would tell each other if our feelings changed. I confronted her about it and she said that she was seeing someone else and that she had lost all her feelings that she once had for me. I became very sad and wanted to talk with her about it but she did not even want to talk to me. She did not even care how I felt. Then I woke up and realized that it was all a terrible dream.

ML 10 TALKING ABOUT MEXICO TRIP

The dream was set in San Felipe, Mexico. I had just gone down there for Spring break. I was with my girlfriend and four of her housemates, all the same people who really went on the trip. We were sitting in our room in Mexico talking about all the things we had done on the trip. It felt real good and pleasant to just sit around and remember all the good times we had on the trip.

ML 11 SLEEPING MAN'S MONEY

I dreamed that I was in a nickel arcade. This place is very familiar to me because I just spent four hours there. I dreamed that I was walking around looking for a video game to play, when I saw a $5 bill lying on the ground next to a man who was sleeping. I slyly stepped on the bill and dragged it to a corner so I could pick it up. I got the $5 and felt pretty good about myself. Then I walked around more and found 3 $20 bills. I was now $65 richer and a whole lot happier. But, I came across the sleeping man again and realized that people were giving him money as charity. I then realized I took the $5 from that man. I quickly ran over to the man with a beard and placed money on his chest. As I walked away, however, I felt as if I didn't give him enough money, especially since I just found $60. I contemplated giving him more, then I woke up.

ML 12 MOM GETS HIM IN CAR

I had a dream that I was at some sort of school like institution where I was around a lot of people. There was an alert that a bomb was going to go off and I was evacuating people and telling people it was time to leave. I made it outside and my mom was waiting for me in a car that was unfamiliar to me. The bomb never went off and no one was ever really scared. I remember opening the car door my mom was in and smelling the smell of fast food in the car. I introduced my mom to whomever I was with and then we left in the car and I remember flipping through all sorts of radio stations in the car.

ML 13 WITH GIRLFRIEND, IN SNOW

I dreamt that I woke up in my backpacking tent and looked over to see my girlfriend then sleeping but she was not-she had left. I got out of the tent and it was already late afternoon. I remember I was happy that I had slept so long especially because we were camped on DEEP snow. I saw my girlfriend across this snowy field and started to walk toward her. But as I walked I kept sinking deeper into the snow kind of like quicksand. I remember feeling that I would never be able to get to her but I wasn't upset I was very content and didn't seem to mind. I was up to my chest and my girlfriend was smiling at me when the dream ended.

ML 14 FIGHTING CORPSE IN CAR

I'm in an urban environment. I have a skateboard and a pole. I walk down some stairs from the street to a little sunken garden. I get on the skateboard and push it along with the pole. Suddenly a bright red car comes driving down the street, turns along the stops, and bursts through the barrier. I'm kind of alarmed by this, but it's not driving along my trajectory. Suddenly as it's past me, the car swerves to face me and then stops. I see that the driver is actually a highly decayed corpse! Even the bones look like they've shrunk and rotted. For some reason this disturbs me. I punch my pole through the windshield, beating the corpse mercilessly, screaming, "you're dead, you're dead, you're (expletive deleted)ing dead!" over and over at it.

MR 1 TALKING WITH HIS OLD FRIEND

I was at my home when my friend showed up at the door. I haven't seen him in a while since I came to college, and we just sat back talking about what's been going on with each other and why we haven't been able to keep in touch. We also made future plans to get together to do something.

MR 2 HE GETS THE SECOND INTERVIEWàTHEN DOESN'T

I called a company, Andersen Consulting, to ask if I had been considered for the second round of interviews. The reason I called was because I had received a message saying I was not selected. But since my first interview went superb I figured there was some sort of mistake, thus the reason I called. The lady I spoke with on the phone said, "Yes, there was a mistake and you have been selected for the second round of interviews." I was very excited, yet expressed my disgust for the company's careless way of going about all of this. Then, all of a sudden, I woke up from this happy dream, only to realize that there was no mistake. Even though I had an excellent interview in real life, I did not make the second round….which sucks!

MR 3 DRIVING AT MAN IN DARK

I was inside the car driving. Everything was dark. I was alone and driving in the narrow street with trees surrounding the road. I was calm and everything was calm but then I saw a man approaching towards the car running full speed and I was shocked and braked as hard as I could and I woke up.

MR 4 CHARITY TO STARVING CHILDREN

I was with my friends socializing and…we were talking about something funny (don't know-just recall the mood was good); later, something told me or was shown to me in the form of crying and begging starving children that the money that my group of friends send each month as charity from our monthly incomes should be given to the most destitute not monthly to a family to get on its feet and improve (you know: sponsoring a family).

MR 5 GOING BALD

I cannot fully remember exact details, though it was certainly a feeling of fear, or rather simply an unpleasant feeling. The setting was a bathroom in front of a mirror though it was not particularly my own personal bathroom, and I dreamt that I was balding by the second. The focus was my going bald by the instant, without absolutely any help-I was completely powerless and remember panicking, yelling, and being scared. I was alone in this dream, and so this too probably contributed to my fear, because I was maybe "indirectly" yelling for help and there was no one around to hear me. I was my present age in the dream-perhaps this too added to my fear because I am nearing the ages of male balding. In any case, it was unpleasant, frightening, and anything else I did not understand-why? For what reason?

MR 6 TWO GEORGES

Setting: at my university at an SAE fraternity party. There are school people talking (but only two are identifiable). One of the persons is George Mi. (an active member of SAE already) and the other is George Ma. (the brother of George Mi.'s girlfriend). They are both friends of mine, yet in the dream George Mi. is "badmouthing" my fraternity (theta chi). Anyway, I just remember strong feelings of anger toward George Mi.

MR 7 SWITCH WITH SUICIDE FRIEND

Very recently, my best friend was admitted to a hospital for a suicide attempt. When I saw him the first night in the hospital, his wrists and ankles were shackled down, he had an IV in his arm and a tube in his nose. My dream is that I am the one in the bed and he is looking down on me. It is a horrible feeling of helplessness.

MR 8 CHASED, PARALYZED

Something was after me and I could not move. It was not pleasant because I wanted to move away but I could not.

MR 9 FRIEND'S NAME ON TOMB

This dream disturbed me greatly. It was actually a part of a dream. I was walking in a park when I suddenly looked and saw what seemed to be a tomb with the name of a friend on it. It startled me to the point that I woke up and was frightened for a short period. This was an unpleasant dream. I do not recall the rest, but this part stood out and I remember it clearly.

MR 10 ANIMAL BEHAVIOR CLASS

I dreamt about my Animal Behavior class. I dreamt about the lecture and it was remarkably vivid. This was not a previous lecture. I could not see what I was wearing but I saw what everybody else was wearing. I could see the notes on the board and what my professor was lecturing about. I did not feel frightened or anything, it just felt like another lecture. It just felt like I was awake and going through the motion of note taking and listening. The people were the same people in my class and everything else was the same. It was cloudy when I got to class (I was not late) and it was starting to clear up when I left.

MR 11 LATE FOR CLASS

I dreamed that I was late for class (because next day was first class). I kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking it was time to go. This caused me to get very little sleep that night.

MR 12 MAFIA RESTAURANT

Setting was in a upstairs restaurant, but it wasn't any ordinary restaurant underground mafia-type people only ate there mostly people in 40's-50's. I didn't recognize any of them. I was at the restaurant with my girlfriend we ate dinner there and then we left. But, when we left the host gave us a box which looked like a kids toychest with cartoon decorating the outside of it. This box was to be used to smuggle something outside the restaurant, but I woke up before I found out what I was suppose to smuggle out. I felt like a spy or hitman looking over my shoulder making sure nothing was going to happen to me.

MR 13 EXAM NIGHTMARE

I dreamed that I was in one of my classes at college and that there was a final exam. To my horror, I was totally unprepared for the test and could not believe what was happening. I had this very intense fear that I was failing. It was a very unpleasant feeling and it took me a little while to switch over to reality after waking up. I was tremendously relieved to know that it was only a dream.

MR 14 BEARS IN PUBLIC RESTROOM

I was with 3 other people. One was from work. We were driving around an area that had brush, rocks, small grass, some gulleys. I looked at a map and saw a grey area on the map. We were getting ready to enter that area. When we did, everything electronic quit working. I told the guy driving to just keep coasting as we had enough speed to just clear the area. We did. When we got out of the truck, there was talk of bears and what to do should we encounter one. For some reason we were really concerned with finding bears in the public restrooms. I demonstrated how to enter a restroom quickly, with a gun drawn to check out the restroom. When I did, I kicked in the door to the restroom, gun drawn. In the restroom was a big bear, standing at a urinal. I was shocked, told everybody to walk away slowly. We did. We went to another restroom, I entered the restroom, gun drawn, and standing at the urinal was another bear. He turned his head, looked at me, and his eyes changed from white to yellow to red. I shot at the bear, which did no good. I then told everybody to walk out slowly. When we were out of the restroom, we ran to the truck. Then I woke up.
